Question: how do you mount a LSA engine using a motor plate in a Boat or Dragster without modifying the accessory drive system to compensate for the thickness of the plate used to mount the block.
Answer: Simple, don't mount the engine using a standard motor plate, instead mount the engine from the side how the GM engineers originally designed it to be mounted.
LSX Concepts now has a simple solution to mount the engine without modifying the front accessory drive using our side of block mounted front motor plates which set's the 3/8 thick motor plates back 3.5 inches from the front of the block leaving the front of the engine unmodified allowing the use of Corvette spacing front drive accessories without any modifications
