He was informative and willing to take all the time needed to answer all of our questions; including questions regarding the customer that posted his failed attempt to install the fitting. United StatesMachining and quality were good, upon inserting I tapped it with a plastic mallet a few light times to get it started before I put it in the press and it blew the side of the pump casting out ruining the pump and part. Hope you have better luck than I did, I cant really blame the part, it's a risk you take when your doing something like this.
Sorry to hear this, one thing we never do is use a press to install these. we freeze the fitting for a few hours in the freezer to shrink the part, apply a small amount of anti seize, and then we tap it in slowly with a light mallet being careful not to skew the part which will could cause the case to split. out of the thousands we have done we have only split 2 or 3 cases.
