Easy Weld On 12AN Fittings are designed with a wide base that tapers down from .200 to .090 thick with a .090X.875 locating flange so they can easily be welded to thin materials commonly used to create fuel tanks, fluid reservoirs, oil tanks, and water tanks.

The thin base is designed to be easier to weld on when the base material is closer in size to the target material allowing the two base parts to be heated evenly and easily welded on by even the most novice of TIG welders.
