LSA Billet Side Motor Plates

Regular price

Question: how do you mount a LSA engine using a motor plate in a Boat or Dragster without modifying the accessory drive system to compensate for the thickness of the plate used to mount the block.

Answer: Simple, don't mount the engine using a standard motor plate, instead mount the engine from the side how the GM engineers originally designed it to be mounted.

LSX Concepts now has a simple solution to mount the engine without modifying the front accessory drive using our side of block mounted front motor plates which set's the 3/8 thick motor plates back 3.5 inches from the front of the block leaving the front of the engine unmodified allowing the use of Corvette spacing front drive accessories without any modifications

Whats Included:

  • 2 Billet Mounting Adapter Plates
  • 8 -10MM Socket Head Allen Bolts (adapter plates to block)
  • 2 Billet 3/8 Motor plates (max width 26-3/4 inches)
  • 6 - 1/2-13 studs and nylon lock nuts (adapter plate to motor plates)

Motor mount plates

Had to trim the plates to fit my application. The plates are a better choice for solid mounting without running motor plates and having to modify the accessory drive with an LSA supercharger.
