Billet Press Fit Power Steering Fitting for GM Type II Pump -10AN 90 Degree

Billet aluminum 90 degree reservoir fitting for Type II power steering pumps. This is a tight 90 degree -10AN fitting to give extra clearance when installing a LS alternator/power steering bracket. Press fit fitting with machined -10AN fitting so no need for a separate fitting.

This fitting is designed to take a standard clip on reservoir style pump and convert it to remote reservoir pump.

Fitting is designed to fit with a pump body with a .767 - .768 dia. Opening. pump fitting has a .770 press fit

This will not work for pumps that have a pressed in steel tube and are already a remote reservoir style pump.

Great Experience

We were referred to LSX Concepts so we called and spoke with Greg about his product because we have a significant clearance issue. He was informative and willing to take all the time needed to answer all of our questions; including questions regarding the customer that posted his failed attempt to install the fitting. Ultimately we purchased two of the fittings and am glad that we did. I highly recommend this company. Takes care.

Caution

Machining and quality were good, upon inserting I tapped it with a plastic mallet a few light times to get it started before I put it in the press and it blew the side of the pump casting out ruining the pump and part. Hope you have better luck than I did, I cant really blame the part, it's a risk you take when your doing something like this.

Sorry to hear this, one thing we never do is use a press to install these. we freeze the fitting for a few hours in the freezer to shrink the part, apply a small amount of anti seize, and then we tap it in slowly with a light mallet being careful not to skew the part which will could cause the case to split. out of the thousands we have done we have only split 2 or 3 cases.
